We collect just enough to get you on the court, we never sell it, and you can ask us to fix or delete it anytime.

This website, kisvolleyball.com, is run by KIS Volleyball LLC, a recreational volleyball league in Long Beach, California. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean KIS Volleyball LLC. This policy covers information collected through this website. It is written to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and other applicable California law.

What you give us through the sign-up form:
What you give us outside the site: anything you include when you email us, and payment details you enter with PayPal or Venmo when you pay a player fee. Payments are handled entirely by PayPal or Venmo. We never see or store your card or bank details.
Collected automatically: like any website, loading our pages sends your IP address, browser type, and device information to the companies that host the site and serve its fonts (listed below). This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking tools.
We only share information with the service providers that run this site, our email, and payments, and only so they can provide those services to us:
Receives the sign-up form and delivers it to our inbox.
Our email provider. Form submissions and the emails we exchange with you at info@kisvolleyball.com are stored in our Microsoft 365 account.
Process player-fee payments. You pay them directly, under their own terms and privacy policies.
If you're added to the league WhatsApp group, your phone number is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy, and is visible to the other members of that group.
Hosts this website. Netlify's servers log standard request data such as IP addresses.
Serves the site's typefaces. Your browser requests the fonts directly from Google, which receives your IP address and browser information.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of our players.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have never done so. We also do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Do Not Track: some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. This site doesn't use tracking of any kind (no cookies, analytics, or ad pixels), so there is nothing for a DNT signal to switch off. It works the same whether or not your browser sends one.
Tracking over time and across sites: we don't track you across other websites, and we don't allow advertising or analytics companies to collect information about you through our site. The only outside service your browser contacts is Google Fonts, which receives standard technical data (like your IP address) needed to deliver the fonts. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles it.
You can ask to review the personal information we have about you, correct anything that's wrong, or have us delete it. Just email info@kisvolleyball.com from the address you signed up with, tell us what you'd like, and we'll take care of it promptly. We may keep records we're required to keep, such as payment records.
We keep sign-up information only as long as we need it to run the season or event, stay in touch (if you asked us to), and keep ordinary business records. We use reputable service providers and reasonable safeguards, but no website or email system is perfectly secure.
KIS Volleyball leagues and tournaments are for players 18 and older. This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe someone under 18 has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
