Long Beach Recreational Intermediate Coed Volleyball League
Who We Are
KIS Volleyball is an intermediate-level recreational league in Long Beach. We run a coed 4v4 format at Rosie's Dog Beach every Saturday — competitive enough to keep it interesting, casual enough to keep it fun.
Season 2 wrapped up this summer. Season 3 kicks off September 12 — plus a co-ed 3v3 tournament joins the lineup this time around.
Why We Play
We build an inclusive, volunteer-powered beach volleyball community for intermediate-level adults — connecting people through play, and returning profits directly to our players and local charities.
Core Values
The League
Our flagship season. Teams of four — coed, intermediate level — play every Saturday for six weeks at Rosie's Dog Beach. Register solo or bring a full roster; either way, you're playing every week against the rest of the league.
The Tournament · Halloween Day
A separate, one-day event to close out the season — and it lands on Halloween. Teams of three, coed required, face off in a bracket-style tournament at Rosie's Dog Beach starting at 9 AM. Costumes are encouraged (not required) — come dressed to spike. Sign up on its own or pair it with your league registration.
How It Works
STEP 01
Fill out the form as an individual or register your whole squad. This league is intermediate level — you should be comfortable with basic game play.
STEP 02
We send you the schedule, payment details, and everything you need to know before Season 3 kicks off September 12.
STEP 03
Every Saturday at Rosie's Dog Beach. Bring sunscreen, bring energy, bring your team name.
